Archie-ism's

"Those were the days" and Archie Bunker used to say "We better not, ya know, kill our chickens before they cross the road." Judge Marvin H. Shoob of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Georgia, granted AT&T's motion for preliminary injunction in its suit against NASCAR but NOT SO FAST... NASCAR sought and was granted a hearing with Shoob at 11:30 a.m. today seeking a stay. If that is granted, Burton's car will have the Cingular logos in tonight's race.
As the wheel turns!!

And more days of old... This is pre-Nextel. Matt Kenseth's #17 carrying the AT&T paint scheme. www.mattkenseth.com/.../ATTCar/2002ATTCar.htm. The days when sponsor wars were rare. And speaking of Matt... they ruled last night.

Shoob doggy dog needs to kill the FranceCar appeal. Maybe Brian will grab his blanket and go home...

This is nuts in my opinion. I have said it before. Cingular is AT&T or vise versa. Whatever. It's all the same company.

My understanding now is that Nextel has become an official party in the suit (on NASCAR's side of course).

We'll see. I think it will, and should, stand as is.

Keep driven AT&T.
