I've read several articles lately both media and blogger's that say they're tired of hearing "Tony is Tony". But that's the facts folks!! Tony is and always will be Tony and if the sport did not have the likes of him and guys like him the sport of NASCAR might as well be F1 or some other so called higher class version of racing. NASCAR has it's gentlemen and it has it's bad boy's and without that mix we would have a bunch of Ivy League snobs running around wearing Izod's and Top Sider's worrying about how they look when they see they're reflection. I mean, how many driver's in F1 would say to a media reporter.. "Let's see you climb that fence fat boy" on national television?? That's Tony and there's no changing him and it's why I like the guy.Great win Smoke!!

I use to wear top siders...and Dave Marcis use to vroom in wing tips! It's all in the shoes!

Bravo!!! but don't hold it against me that I wear Topsiders also, heck they are comfortable but I wouldn't try climbing a fence in them...LOL

Both my husband and I are big fans of Tony's and he is probably the driver we would pull for 100% were it not for Dale Jr.
No way, I don't want Smoke to change. I love him the way he is. I am so glad that he finally won a race.
Being a bad boy is OK. I just don't like what he tried to pull when blaming Hamlin and Gilligan for wrecks that, at worst, were racing incidents. On the street, Tony would have been cited for both. Good to see him win and I like the fence climbing deal.
Your right "smoke' will always be "smoke"..I don't agree with everything he says but I'm glad he says 'em...I wonder if I could get my fat ass up that fence in my old KEDS....
