Much 'bout Nothin

As I surf around reading story after story about nothing exciting I wonder when the next big controversy will emerge. The biggest story this week has been Robby Gordon and correct me if I'm wrong but I've not found anything more on his appeal process. He is clearly innocent of any intent and it would only be in everyone's best interest if NASCAR overturns the penalties...to some degree of lesser severity.

Another big story has been Kyle Busch. This kid is like a rock... but in a Toyota. It's too bad he is not a very likable guy because his success as a Champion is imminent, yet he really does not have the fan base to make it exciting.

On to Vegas. It's another boring flat wide track, but it's at least now a bit seasoned after last years repaving. The drivers should enjoy it more. Here is a short clip with Denny Hamlin on this subject.

Happy race weekend!!

Can you cite anything in "The Memo" that outlined what the penalties would be if caught messing with any part of the CoT that mentioned "intent?"

Further, there was no "intent" on the part of DEI and Juniors team to deceive or cheat when caught with an unapproved wing Strut last year.

No less than DEI's Max Seigel said it was an accident. Like infractions, like penalties for both DEI and RGM.

Did it slip your mind during the repaving progressive banking was added. While not banked as some venues are LVMS can hardly be called flat. Indy in flat, LVMS isn't.

Are we just a tad on the OCD side Marc? Critique is always good and helps us less fortunate gain knowledge from the Wise of the world. Of course my "Intent" here is to expand my horizons and meet others. Being a NASCAR guru is far from my goal... but thanks for helping me understand and in the future I'll try to remember to include words like "Relatively" {flat} and "Certainly" {boring} and who could ever forget Jr's lack of intent, but that doesn't make Robby Gordon any more guilty or the punishment any more just... but I am not Judge or Jury... just another fan who has a knack for making friends in the right places and seeing the world through a lens... of course it helps to live in the United States! Have a nice day my friend.

I can't help but find it amazing that when Robby Gordon, or Jeff Gordon for that matter, have a problem it is unfair but when Michael Waltrip had his problems last year he was CHEATING TO THE INTH DEGREE. Michael had to "take it like a man" and so can Robby !!! Is it true Robby is leaving NASCAR ??? I won't be crying over it, that's for sure.
