Blogspot Problems

Robby Gordon loses 100 driver and owner points; crew chief fined and suspended for the next six races...

For an unapproved front bumper cover. A tad on the stiff side I'd say. He had an awesome day too.

They also nailed Todd Bodine and Ron Hornaday for infractions... so the "Getting back to Basics" means it's ok for Kurt Busch to use his car as a weapon but zero tolerance for stupid infractions.

I won't even go into what NASCAR did to 7 of the Nationwide teams.

This Blogspot site is acting horrible. I can't copy and paste anything anymore...add links.. and it seems to have a mind of it's own. I'm probably going to search for a new home.

I wonder if that bumper helped him to a top 10 finish?

As David Poole said in his column today: Gordon's team got a $100,000 fine, 100-point deductions and a six-race suspension for its crew chief. Which is exactly what fines for unapproved parts on this race car got last year for the teams of Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Even if it was a mistake, which I believe it was, it's only fair to hand out the same penalty to everyone.

If it's a new home you're looking for there is no better free host and blog software than WordPress.com.

Of if you have an idea to go the paid host route (albeit free software with you paying a host) than WordPress.org is the other side of the WP house.

Both versions offer excellent software and spam protection.

And I should have added... a free WP blog hosted by Luke at Thunderlounge.com.

Same software as WP.com but with much more personalized service and a choice of NASCAR specific themes for your blog.

Also the home of On Pit Road, Bench Racing with Charlie and Steve and with a whole lot of luck and code monkey work by Luke the future home of Full Throttle.

Robby went from 9th in points all the way down to 41st. Ouch!
