ALL RIGHT ALREADY

As I surf the many blogs and NASCAR sports writer reports I can't help but feel for the many, many mixed emotions concerning Kevin Harvick's victory.
My previous entry from yesterday emphasized "Bittersweet" as it truly is.
It's a confusing mess to say the least, one that will shadow NASCAR, the fans, the media, add-infinium...for who knows how long. There will always be "the one Mark Martin almost won".
The general concensus I've found, as I'm sure the rest of you have, is against NASCAR's call and the poll's wanted Mark to have his win. I too was rooting for Mark, yet Kevin's victory sits very well with me. At the same time my feelings go out to all the disgruntled fans, bloggers and media alike.
KUDO'S TO MARK!
KUDO'S TO KEVIN!
THAT'S RACING!
GET OVER IT!

Kevin won fair and square. Even had the flag dropped at the exact moment of the accident, Harvick would have one. I Tivo'd the race on the Harvick channel on Speedpass and he was ahead by inches. I feel bad for Mark, yes...but this is racing and that finish is waht racing is all about. Weird synchronicity's all day....Kevin "Earnhed" that win and the Edler Earnhardt was a guardian Angel to many that day, particularly Tony Stewart and Clint Boyer...and Jr of course.

I agree with Clance, when #5 wrecked, at that moment, Happy was in the lead...and Mark should have just peddled back to the checkered faster.

Great blog as always!

Thanks for stopping by Rev'Jim's and leaving a comment. I guess it's about time I came and checked out your blog. Very good writing, and it seems we have similar views about the 500.
