I hope everybody has a great and safe holiday!!!Oh and, has anyone else besides me heard that Gibbs is going Toyota next year? Please tell me it ain't so!! I heard it on a video at Yahoo NASCAR. Geesh.. who knows maybe Tony and Denny could make those things fly.
Rumor has it that Toyota is pursuing Gibbs. They don't have a new contract with Chevrolet for next year yet but are in discussions.

ReplyDeleteI just can't believe this sport, it's now bent on destroying any sort of fan/brand loyalty. We've got the Gibb's issue, the only staple Ford driver of history driving for Hendrick-now Childress (Chevy-Martin) and a host of yearly seat swapping among the top teams that should outlaw there ability to make expensive fan gear unless they agree to stick together a minimum of five years to sort things out. I will never buy another team/driver specific item again after being burned on my #6 Valvoline coat! Anyway, we'll now be able to purchase deep dicounted #8 gear at any local flea market. Terrible, this should be addressed by NASCAR before allowing any such changes. Or quit the excessive merchandising. Slipping fan....
